Adding a dollar sign in front of a stock or currency sign, like $AAPL, creates a clickable cashtag.
Previously, clicking on a cashtag would take you to a standard set of search results page including popular tweets.
If you wanted to find out the existing value of the stock or currency, you had to check out another site to get the information.
Now, you can get the details you’re searching for instantly with updated search engine result for cashtags.

In addition to clicking cashtags, you can activate the brand-new search experience by searching for the signs with or without the dollar sign.
Buy Twitter Verified says it’s presenting this function with the major symbols first, and will broaden its protection of symbols in the coming weeks.
